San Andreas has fallen into chaos.

Years of unchecked corruption rotted the system from the inside. Local police departments turned a blind eye. County sheriffs sold their badges for power, money, and protection. Justice became selective. Crime became organized. Trust disappeared.

With the state on the brink of collapse, the Governor made a historic decision.

All local and sheriff law enforcement agencies were stripped of authority.

In their place, the San Andreas State Police assumed full control of law enforcement statewide. Tasked with restoring order, dismantling corruption, and reclaiming the streets, the State Police now operate with expanded powers, aggressive oversight, and zero tolerance for misconduct.

But power doesn’t guarantee peace.

Criminal organizations exploit the transition. Former officers operate in the shadows. Civilians are caught between fear and hope. Every decision—legal or illegal—shapes the future of the state.

This is a world rebuilding itself.
